I want to get my hair cut so it tapers to a V point in the back, it is below shoulder length and I don't want a bob or it longer in the front than in the back (a line)
I don't know what this is called or how to describe it to my stylist, my BF calls it the "stripper V" and I can't seem to pull up any images.

just explain to your stylist that you want your hair so it tapers to a v at the back like you explained in your question, it's every understandable and straight to the point.
altho it may be hard because your hair is sholder length, you may have to wait for it to grow.
otherwise you could get hair extenstions that clip in.
