When you get married and something happens...?

say for example your hubby/wife does something with talking to you or asking your opinion about it, and they do it, would you see them differently? say for example you are really like your wife's hair and she chops it into a bob, would you see her differently.

When you get married and something happens...?

Men get really attached to hair and don't adjust well to seeing it removed in a flash. Whenever my dad and stepmother fought she'd whack off her hair to irritate him more. As much as women are looking for their prince charming men are looking for their princess and all of us have been inundated with pictures of princesses with long flowing hair. I don't think it changes their opinion of you totally but it alters who they see on some level.

As partners though major decisions should be discussed. Minor ones, or things that seem minor, should at least come up in conversation.

When you get married and something happens...?

No because when you get married you are not marrying someone for their haircut. I thought that people got married because they live the person inside.

When you get married and something happens...?

Yeah, my wife did just that. It was the beginning of the end.

When you get married and something happens...?

I'm a female and I've experienced men treating me different when I cut my hair. I love short hair. It's easy to deal with. My first husband (who was a turd) said I looked like a lesbian. My current husband said I look much sexier and fun with long hair. I don't know if they feel any different about us but if they do, they're mighty shallow!

When you get married and something happens...?

If that is what she wanted I would have no problem with it I married that person for who they are, on the inside.

When you get married and something happens...?

yeah i would see her hair all chopped short but it wouldn't change the way i felt about the person

When you get married and something happens...?

Because when you marry, it's not just about you anymore.

It's also about pleasing your' mate. If he says he likes long hair, and you cut it off, it's like you're saying"I don't really care enough about you to do what you like".

When you get married and something happens...?

i think people are focusing on your example when what you are really asking is about making a decision without discussion, and in this case it seems out of some sort of spite. if this is the case, i guess i would. there action was a reaction that implied they liked things the way they were and the other changed it based on this. this shows a lack of respect

When you get married and something happens...?

most men do

they wonder why female defeminized themselves after they get married

after all if a guy wanted to be married to another women with a bob

he'ld go gay

When you get married and something happens...?

When I married my husband he had long hair and a mustache and goatee. I had a kid with the man without ever having seen his bare chin!

7 years later, he decided to cut his hair and clean shave his face.

Yeah, he looks vastly different. He is still the same person I married and I decided he was still handsome to me after I got used to the radical change.

Marriage is all about the person inside, not their appearance. Appearance changes with age and style, who they are inside is what matters.

When you get married and something happens...?

I realize there is a lot of pent up emotions here.you guys have not been married long.stuff would happen while you try to set up the ground rules.mean while learn to love each other.forgive till it hurts

When you get married and something happens...?

all right everybody, read the question for example cut her hair, to go against something the other partner really likes,

I would find it as insulting, not because I don't like the "haircut" or other defiant act, its the fact that my partner cared so little about what I thought or purposefully went against what I liked for spites sake.

I would absolutely see her different
