I need help deciding if i should get a bob!!?

I am going to get my hair cut this week and i was wondering what face types best suit a bob haircut(kind of like Victoria Beckham's haircut)

i thought i couldnt do it but i did and it looks great. only thing is that it has to be styled, i cant just throw my hair in a ponytail or anything like that anymore, much less let it air dry because my hair is wavy. so just think about that. i got 10 inches cut off so it was pretty dramatic for me. i have decided to let it grow back out.

im a cosmetologist so i know a lot about hair. just be sure you are ready to maintain it in a different way than you would longer hair.

like i said my hair is wavy so i have to blow and straighten it. but if you have fine straight hair it might be easy for you.

not a round face. an oval or square face would look good with a bob, but not round.

That look is not for everyone. My Friend did the same thing as Victoria Beckman. Her face shape is even the same. But she looks bad with it. Everyone is diffrent. I would say to do it if you have a really really pretty face.

In order to pull off the bob look-

you should have strong facial features, such as high cheek bones and a defined jaw.

If your face is rounded- then the hair cut will make you look a little chubby.

agreed you should have an oval or square face shape. If you have a long face shape definatly don't it will make your face seem longer I think.

Oval or heart shaped :)

If you want more of a serious, mature look to it, heart shaped is better; if you're going for a sweeter, cuter look, oval or round is better.

In general, you want sharp, defined features. No matter what kind of bob you're getting. Those things are hard to pull off.

There have been a lot of celebrities lately with that cut--Katie Holmes, Rihanna, Jenny McCarthy. Maybe you can compare your face shape to any of theirs and see what you think?

I'm not into bobs. It seems to blah for me. But short hair is cute especially with a round face I think.

A bob is a dramatic hairstyle. If your hair is medium to long length hair, I would make sure you really are comfortable with how a bob would look with your face shape and if you feel confident and good. Maybe you should ask your family and friends on their opinion or maybe, I dunno..try a bob wig to see how the shape would look good on you. From celebs and people at school, I've observed that it people that are slim and oval face-shaped pull off the bob hairstyle the best. Good luck and may everything work out with you!
