I Need Hair Help?

I have really curly, thick hair and I would like to grow it long, but whenever I do that it ends up being an afro and I look like Sideshow Bob. Can anybody help me? I'm kind of looking for a Julian Casablancas style hair cut

You can get it chemically straightened, or you can put an oil based relaxing cream for curls on your hair right after you get out of the shower, and that will loosen them up and (hopefully) put an end to your afro problems. You can find that at a local drugstore like Wal-Mart :]
