Help to rectify my hair?

I have really thick, frizzy hair. So for years i've never really bothered styling my hair i'd always ask for a quick trim and otherwise leave it as is. Since i knew i'd never be able to maintain anything else. Secretly envying every other girl i walked past with their really edgy cuts. But a couple of days ago i took the plunge and asked my hairdresser to do me a choppy bob with one side longer than the other. She did it perfrectly and i was amazed at how easily she managed to get my hair poker straight just by drying, straightening and a bit of wax. I loved it! I got great comments too. I was full of confidence and so sure i'd be able to do it myself. Then - i washed it and now it's horrible. I dare not step out the door, seriously. I tried for ages to straigten my hair with irons but i'm always too clumbsy even with a mirror. And i just wondered if there was any products out there that could make it easier? For someone as useless at styling as me.

try a natural relaxer, it won't damage your hair and will leave it permanently straight.

once you've done that, when you shower a straightening serum and blow dry it while brushing your hair. once you're all dry add some wax for texture.

here's a good relaxer I used on my friend:

Well, I hate to break it to you. But no matter what products you apply on your hair, you need to use a paddle brush and a blow dryer to get it nice and smooth. Find a good straightening balm or lotion or something, put a bit in your hair after washing (and towel drying) and get to work with the blow dryer. Go to this website and see if it's of any help. http://www.virtualhaircare.com.au/virtua...
