i'm getting my hair cut before i go to mexico, and it's going to be HOT there. I want something short, definitely off my shoulders, so a bob seems logical. However, i don't want the plain old boring kind, i want something new and fairly modern, but not over the top crazy. Suggestions anyone? plz and thanx!

bobs are a difficult cut if done wrong, they make one look really frumpy if they are cut straight across at the wrong length. A great way to go with the bob is to have your stylist cut it really short at the back (at the nape of the neck) and longer at the front so it sweeps down just to your chin line. With bangs, you could go any way- side bangs, short baby doll bangs, longer 60's mod bangs- anything. Its all about having the angle of the hair going shorter towards the back. Very sexy. And very cooling in the summer heat. And it grows out beautifully and easily.

you should get a regular bob cut and then some side parted bangs to look modern.

even shorter bangs that you can easily style.these look nice always.if it is hot you may want to wear ponytails.
have it cut shorter in the back and chin lenght -longer in the front.
just remember if your hair is not very staight and you choose a bob that is styled straight...it will not look -or stay the same with the humidity!!!
